Hello everyone! My name is Ali Runge and I am a student at Missouri State University. I talked a little bit about myself in my about me section, but I figured I would elaborate more about myself and what I wish to gain.
As I previously stated, I am a student at Missouri State University. I am majoring in Public Relation and I want to work for a PR firm/agency developing social media, branding and public content for a company. My life-long dream has been to move somewhere outside of Missouri. I have been here my whole life, and I am ready to start my life somewhere else. I have had many considerations in mind; such as Denver, Dallas or Nashville. My hobbies include journaling, crafting, painting and spending time with my friends. As a creative spirit, I love to work with media to create artwork that expresses how I am. In my hometown, St. Louis, I would always go to the St. Louis Art Museum to look at the array of artists and their works-of-art. Not only that, but I love to see how the different cultures come together to express the same messages within their art. To any other art fanatics out there, I highly suggest going to S. Louis, or any other major cities, art museum.
As a student in COM309, I wish to gain experience in the field of Public Relations. At the moment, my main priority is learning the material and figuring out how to become appealing to an audience. I want to be able to nail every assignment, so that I know I am capable of doing the work intended for this field. Kind of crazy, I know. But I like to set little goals for myself. It helps me keep myself accountable.
There are so many topics I want to blog about. I have so many interests, it’s like I am bursting at the seams. I do know that for my PR class, I will be writing posts about the topics we discuss in class. But, If I find time, I would love to blog about other things. I have a passion for travel and culture. To me, there is something so rewarding about learning about how other people live. Hopefully I will be able to blog about my interests and hobbies sometime this semester. But, being as though I am a college student working completely online…. I am going to need all the time I can get.
Thank you for reading about myself! I hope you stick around for more posts in the future.
